BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 20. The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Finland has remained moderate since 2018, fluctuating either down or up, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
According to statistics, the amount of trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Finland in 2023 amounted to 4.57 million euros, which is 12 percent less than in 2018 (5.24 million euros).
Furthermore, in the period from the beginning of 2018 to the end of 2023, the total volume of trade between Turkmenistan and Finland amounted to 25.6 million euros, reflecting the stable level of trade between the two countries during this time.
The largest trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Finland in recent years occurred in 2019 (7.67 million euros), but in 2021 (1.15 million euros), possibly due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the lowest trade turnover was recorded.
