BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Azerbaijan exported 759.2 tons of citrus fruit from January through March 2023, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture told Trend.
The ministry underlined that this figure grew 10.8 times year-on-year.
"In value terms, the export indicator increased 6.6 times compared to the reporting period of 2022, amounting to $619,700," the ministry said.
Moreover, by the end of the previous year, the value of exported agricultural products of Azerbaijan exceeded $1.14 billion with an increase of 3.2 percent compared to 2021. At the same time, a total of about 396,000 tons of fruit were exported from the country last year, which is 5.6 percent more than in 2021.
