BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. Consolidated budget revenues in Azerbaijan grew by over 75.6 percent from January through April 2023, amounting to 21.26 billion manat ($12.5 billion), Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan, the consolidated budget expenditures during the specified period increased by 9.5 percent and equaled 9.95 billion manat ($5.85 billion). As a result, the consolidated budget showed a surplus of 11.3 billion manat ($6.6 billion).
Meanwhile, the state budget revenues for the first four months of this year amounted to 12.16 billion manat ($7.15 billion), exceeding the forecast of 11.47 billion manat ($6.75 billion). The share of the non-oil sector in the state budget revenues increased by 6.2 percentage points, making up 52.9 percent.
Despite the implementation of state budget expenditures by 107.3 percent compared to the forecast, the budget showed a surplus of 3.2 billion manat ($1.8 billion).
In 2022, Azerbaijan's consolidated budget revenues amounted to 42.28 billion manat ($24.88 billion).
