BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. The Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan has discussed the prospects of cooperation with the Turkish trade union "Türk-Tarım Orman Sen", Trend reports.
According to the Agrarian Research Center of Azerbaijan, the delegation of the "Türk-Tarım Orman Sen" trade union, which is located in Azerbaijan, held a meeting with the leadership of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Agrarian Workers.
At the meeting, the chairman of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Agrarian Workers Fuad Mammadov said that the agricultural trade unions of Azerbaijan and Türkiye cooperate closely and emphasized that a lot of work has been done in the past short period to expand this cooperation.
Fuad Mammadov also noted that both public unions are particularly interested in the exchange of experience and added that joint projects to be implemented will be discussed at the meeting.
In turn, head of "Türk-Tarım Orman Sen" trade union Ahmet Demirci said that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, including partnership relations in the field of agriculture, are developing, and the prospects of cooperation between specialized trade unions of the two countries in the agrarian sphere are great.
According to Ahmet Demirci, within the framework of the visit to Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Agriculture will hold discussions on the realization of these prospects.
The visit of the "Türk-Tarım Orman Sen" trade union delegation to Azerbaijan will last one week. During the visit, the delegation will hold meetings in subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture and research institutes, as well as get to know model farms.
