BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Azerbaijan plans to send an export mission to the UAE and Saudi Arabia on October 14-19, Trend reports.
According to the Azerbaijan Republic Export and Investment
Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), the delegation will go to Dubai, Abu
Dhabi (UAE), and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and will include
representatives from Azerbaijani enterprises that manufacture food
and drinks.
Companies interested in participating in the expedition may apply
until June 25. Participants will be chosen on July 19 based on a
number of criteria, including the proposed products' manufacturing
potential, export potential, and availability of exporting
experience.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan sent an export mission to these nations
earlier (December 10-15, 2023).
To note, AZPROMO was established in 2003 to attract foreign investment in the non-oil sector and stimulate exports of non-oil products.
AZPROMO is engaged in organizing various international events to achieve several goals set for the development of the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan, as well as to promote products to foreign markets, inform foreign customers about Azerbaijani products, help them establish contacts with local companies, and provide services and support to foreign companies wishing to obtain detailed information about the Azerbaijani investment environment and interested in investing based on a "single window" system.
