BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. The nominal income of Azerbaijan's population from January through April 2024 increased by 15 percent, or 3.07 billion manat ($1.8 billion), compared to the same period in 2023 and reached 23.5 billion manat ($1.38 billion), Trend reports via the State Statistics Committee.
Based on the committee's data, per capita income grew by 14.2 percent, or 290.1 manat ($170.6), in the period mentioned. The indicator of the growth of the population's income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 15.3 percent, or 2.742 billion manat ($1.6 billion), compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, per capita income grew by 14.5 percent, or 259.6 manat ($152.7).

Meanwhile, the nominal incomes of Azerbaijan's population in 2023 increased by 12.85 percent, or 8.8 billion manat ($5.1 billion), compared to 2022 and reached 78 billion manat ($45.8 billion).
To note, per capita income grew by 12.2 percent, or 835.9 manat ($491.4) in the mentioned period. The growth rate of personal income after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 12.83 percent, or 7.8 billion manat ($4.5 billion), compared to the same period in 2022. At the same time, per capita income grew by 12.19 percent, or 741.8 manat ($436.1).
