BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 15. Azerbaijan's Aghdam Industrial Park has hosted "Qarabag Yem Fabriki" LLC as a resident, Trend reports.
According to the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA), the new enterprise plans to implement a project to produce high-quality bird feed.
With an investment of 12.4 million manat, or $7.3 million, the enterprise will provide jobs for 80 people. In addition to selling products to the domestic market, it is also planned to export them.
During a press conference dedicated to the results of 2023, Seymur Adigozalov, Chairman of the Management Board of EZDA, announced that more than five enterprises are planned to start operations in Aghdam Industrial Park this year. These enterprises will produce wallpaper, footwear, roofing, pipe and box profiles, ventilation and fire-fighting equipment, various metal products, and more.
The Economic Zones Development Agency was established as a state legal entity based on Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park LLC by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Measures to Improve Management of Industrial Parks, Industrial Districts, and Agro-Parks" No. 1257 dated January 22, 2021.
