BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Recent buzz on social media has hinted that a 1 percent fee is being slapped on loan payments made through MilliÖN and eManat terminals starting this month, Trend reports.
In response to Trend's inquiry, eManat stated that it does not impose this fee on customer payments.
"Fees are applied by the banks. This commission is not a standard 1 percent and may vary. This information is displayed in the terminal interface. It indicates the bank's commission amount. eManat does not apply any fees directly on loan repayments," the company clarified.
In the same vein, MilliÖN gave a nod to Trend, stating that it doesn’t hit customers with any fees for payments.
"Merely, a commission is applied by the banks," the company stated.
