ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 9. In a meeting held during ICAO Week in Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar, Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister, met with Nicolas Rallo, Regional Director of the ICAO European and North Atlantic Office, to discuss deepening cooperation in civil aviation, Trend reports.

The discussions centered on enhancing flight safety, aviation security, and promoting the sustainable development of the civil aviation sector.

One notable outcome of the meeting was the announcement of an anticipated official visit by ICAO President Salvatore Sciacchitano, scheduled for July 2025. This visit underscores the commitment of both Kazakhstan and ICAO to advancing collaboration in the aviation sector and aligning with international standards.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a specialized agency of the United Nations established in 1944, brings together 193 member states to support the safe, secure, and orderly growth of global civil aviation.
