Kazakhstan’s FlyArystan lowcoster is launching flights on four new routes to country’s Shymkent city, Trend reports with reference to the company.

The company now will be implementing flights to Shymkent from Kostanay, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk, and Karaganda cities.

The flights will be implemented two times a week from each city, with the exception of Karaganda as the flights from the city will be carried out three times a week.

The company had to temporarily halt implementation of flights on various domestic routes due to the coronavirus-related restrictions imposed in Kazakhstan in March and April 2020.

Since May 11, 2020, the company is taking active steps to resume its operations and is working to resume implementation of flights on the majority of the pre-quarantine routes.

FlyArystan is the first and only low-cost air company of Kazakhstan. The company started selling tickets online in March 2019. FlyArystan is a subsidiary company of Kazakhstan's Air Astana.

Established in 2001, Air Astana company is one of the largest airline companies in Kazakhstan. Prior to emergency state, Air Astana operated a fleet of 34 aircrafts on over 60 domestic and international routes.
