Standard Capital Tops Azerbaijan’s Ranking of Brokers in February

Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 March / Trend corr I. Khalilova/ In February 2008, according to calculations by the Analytical Department of BSE in the government securities market (excluding repo operations market), Standard Capital topped the ranking of brokers, with its brokerage services provided to 7 clients totalling AZN 94.221mln. The second leading broker was Respublika Invest with brokerage services of AZN 32.898mln provided to 7 clients, which is AZN 61.322mln less than that of Standard Capital. AzerIntertrade held the third place with AZN 16.534mln.

In February, the leading amount in the ranking of brokers decreased compared to the previous month. In January the leading amount of brokerage services provided made AZN 131.951mln. Moreover, in February this year the number of brokers that provided services increased from 7 to 9.
