The number of socially insured persons increased by 62,430 to 1.55 million people, the State Fund for Social Protection of Population said. Out of them 846,000 are men and over 706,000 are women
Over 434,000 of registered are of 40-50 years-old. The number of socially insured persons under 30 years old are over 358,000 people, under 30-40 years old -347,000, under 50-60 years old - over 293,000 people and over 60 years old -118,000 people.
Individual registration is an organization and accounting information on each insured person to provide pension rights and other social protection in accordance with the laws of the country.
Azerbaijani President issued a decree on the application of the Law on an individual account in the state social insurance in December 2001.
The minimum pension is 75 manats in Azerbaijan.
