In 8 months, the insurance company AtaSigorta has collected premiums amounting to $2.38 million manat and paid insurance indemnities amounting to 0.45 million manat, the company said on Sept. 8.
In January-August, AtaSigorta's revenues amounted to 3.59 million manat, and the total expenses were 3.13 million, and as a result, its balance sheet profit reached 0.57 million manat, which is 11.6 percent over the forecasted figure for this period.
AtaSigorta launched insurance operations in September 2004. The paid authorized capital of the company, which belongs to the group of companies AtaHolding, is two million manat.
On Sept. 8, the official exchange rate is 0.8037 manat to $1.
