The implementation of 7 massive projects out of many under the supervision of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) is 90% finished.
The total investment on the 7 mine and mine-related industrial projects is over 14.2 trillion rials and $1billion, the Mehr News Agency reported.
These mine and steel projects which are spread all over Iran have directly and indirectly created over 27,000 jobs of which Hormozgan Steel has created the most among the rest.
The vastest of the seven is the Sangan Iron Ore Concentrate project which has the capacity to produce 2.6 million tons annually.
