National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is going to tighten banking legislation due to problems in AUB, chairperson of the board of directors of National Bank Baktygul Zheenbaeva said to journalists at today's press-conference, news agency "24.kg" reported.
According to her, situation around AsiaUniversalBank revealed mistakes in work of the system and major problem of the legislation. "We've been working since autumn on legislation and regulatory legal acts revision. In 2011 we will demand additional rigid requirements from commercial banks owners, as they are responsible to their clients. They shall work transparently and honestly," said Baktygul Zheenbaeva.
