In 2013 the companies engaged in production of construction materials in Azerbaijan produced goods worth 345.4 million manats, which is 21 percent higher than the figures for 2012, according to a report from Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
In 2013 the companies produced two million tons of cement (an annual growth of 3.8 percent), 170,400 tons of plaster (a growth of 14.3 percent), 1.37 million tons of ready-mixed concrete (an increase of 12.2 percent), the committee said.
As of January 1, 2014 the stocks of finished construction products worth 17.4 million manats were created at the enterprises' warehouses. This figure constitutes 6.9 percent of the total finished goods kept in the country's warehouses.
