The tariffs for gas supplied to the population have increased by 8.2 percent (from 208.92 soms to 226 soms per cubic meters) in Uzbekistan since April 1, 2016.

The tariffs for gas supplied to the population have increased by 8.2 percent (from 208.92 soms to 226 soms per cubic meters) in Uzbekistan since April 1, 2016.

As of April 1, the official exchange rate is 2876.72 soms/$1.

Cold water tariffs have increased by 5.4 percent (from 370 soms to 390 soms per cubic meter of water).

Central heating and hot water tariffs have increased by nine percent (from 1,073 soms to 1,169 soms per square meter of living space and from 3,174 soms to 3,459 soms per cubic meters).

The cost of one kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity supplied to the population increased by 8.7 percent from 167.4 soms to 182 soms.
