Wolf Corporation will carry out reconstruction and restoration work at the Chovdar ore field in Azerbaijan, a tender commission said July 26.
The company signed a relevant contract worth almost 42,000 Azerbaijani manats with AzerGold CJSC.
AzerGold was established by the Feb. 11, 2015 decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and is engaged in study, exploration, development and management of gold and iron-ore sites, such as Garadagh, Chovdar, Goydag, Dagkasaman, the Kohnamadan deposit and the Kurakchay area.
The Chovdar field is located in northern part of Azerbaijan’s Dashkasan District. Ore reserves in its central part amount to about 15-20 million tons.
