Turkish company is planning to cultivate vegetables near the major thermal power station Ekibastuz GRES-1 of Kazakhstan, said Albek Nesipbekov, the Chairman of the “Pavlodar” Socio-Entrepreneurship Corporation, Trend reports with reference to Inbusiness news agency.
“The investor represented by Dal Holding Investment Company is planning to grow cucumbers and tomatoes on the territory of 200 hectares not far from Ekibastuz GRES-1. The investor is interested in the area due to its cheap energy and absence of problems with water,” the report said.
According to the report, the project is to be realized in 2020-2024. Turkish company is planning to produce 80,000 tons of vegetables, a part of which will be exported,” the statement said.
Dal Holding Investment Company established in 1985 in Turkey is working in mining, energy and other spheres of industry.
The company previously invested in construction of a cement plant in Aktobe region of Kazakhstan.
