Azerbaijan’s Sumgait Technological Park (STP) has developed a new production line of polyurethane sandwich panels, Rashad Aliyev, PR manager of STP, told Trend.

He said that this includes production of polyurethane sandwich panels H-60.

“The new product STP panel H-60 is different in thickness of polyurethane,” he noted. “Raw materials such as high-quality isocyanate, polyol, pentane and a catalyst are used in the manufacture of polyurethane sandwich panels. STP panel has very high quality, excellent thermal insulation, easy installation and dismantling, high fire and water resistance, sound insulation and corrosion resistance. In almost all climatic zones it is used for external walls and partitions, as well as for roofing.”

Aliyev noted that sandwich panels made of H-50 polyurethane, already successfully produced in Azerbaijan, are in no less demand in the market.

“Sandwich panels made of polyurethane are used in the construction of refrigerators, for the insulation of industrial premises and small warehouses, as well as in the construction of utility and technological buildings,” he said. “They have high hydro and thermal insulation indicators, are economical and convenient to install.”

STP is a complex of large factories specializing in various fields of production.

The park was commissioned with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on December 22, 2009. Currently, over 30 production sites operate at 13 plants that are part of STP.

The complex of factories manufactures a wide range of products for the oil and gas, construction, energy and agricultural industries.
