Azerbaijan's non-oil export value from January through August 2021 increased, Trend reports citing the report of the country’s Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC).
According to the CAERC, this indicator amounted to $1.6 billion, which is 37.1 percent more than in the first eight months of last year ($1.2 billion).
In August of this year, non-oil exports increased by 95.3 percent compared to the same month of 2020 ($118 million) and amounted to $230.4 million.
Meanwhile, the export of food products increased from $25 million to $38.3 million (rise of 53.1 percent over the year), and non-food products - from $93 million to 192.1 million (up by 2.1 times).
Totally, Azerbaijan's export has grown by 31.6 percent from January through August 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 - up to $13 billion.
