CEs TACIS program is presenting social security upgrade project in Azerbaijan on May 16, 2006. EC issued E 1,421,340 (($1 558 337) for this a two-year project, European house officials told Trend. The project beneficiary is the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
The main goal of the project is boosting and expansion of state agencies potential for poverty reduction and social aid to poor social groups. The project itself includes 4 components social security strategy in Azerbaijan, working out social aid and poverty reduction methods, trainings on poverty reduction and public awareness.
In the presentation will he partaking Azeri Labor Minister Fizuli Akperov, project manager and workgroup, as well as CEs project manager Timo Pirainen.
