Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 April / corr Trend E.Ismayilov / The Geophysics and Geology Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has concluded the seismic survey in the Beyimdag-Tekchay and Muradkhanli onshore fields, the department said on 2 April.
"Now study and processing of data obtained during the seismic survey," SOCAR said. The seismic survey was carried out to obtain data on the fields and expansion of drilling work.
At present hydrocarbons are produced from the Beyimdag-Tekchay field, Repeated seismic survey was carried out in the unexplored areas of the field.
"The data received here will enable to clarify the geological structure of the Muradkhanli-Jafarli fields in high quality," the department said.
