Georgia Restores Import of Electric Energy from Turkey

Georgia, Tbilisi, 24 September / Trend / Georgia restored import of electric energy from Turkey, the commercial operator of the Georgian electric system said. A total of 1.118mln KW/hour of energy is supplied per day.

Electric energy is imported on the basis of bilateral agreement and envisages seasonal exchange.

Besides Turkey, Georgia imports and exports electric energy from and to Russia and Azerbaijan.
