United States Forecasts Cut of Oil Production in OPEC Countries in 2009

Azerbaijan, Baku, 10 Dec / Trend corr. A.Badalova/ Total amount of oil production will cut by 0.79mln barrels a day - to 36.05mln barrels in OPEC countries in 2009, the US Energy Information Agency (EIA) forecast.

Oil production in the OPEC countries will make up 36.84mln barrels a day in 2008, which is by 1.42mln more than the figure in 2007, the EIA reported.

In 2008 oil deliveries of non-OPEC countries will amount to 48.68mln barrels a day as compared to 48.98mln barrels in 2007,

According to the EIA, amount of export of non-OPEC countries will rise by 410,000 barrels a day in 2009, basically at expense of Azerbaijan, Brazil and the United States. Oil deliveries of non-OPEC countries will make up 49.09mln barrels a day in 2009 as compared to 48.68mln barrels in 2008.

Azerbaijan's oil deliveries will amount to 0.96mln barrels a day in 2008 as compared to 0.85mln barrels a day in 2007, the EIA reported. Azerbaijan will increase oil deliveries by 0.26mln barrels a day - to 1.22mln barrels in 2009.

Amount of oil deliveries of Kazakhstan will comprise 1.51mln barrels in 2009 as compared to 0.51mln barrels in 2008.

In 2009 Turkmenistan will insignificantly increase deliveries - to 0.2mln barrels a day as compared to 0.19mln barrels in 2008.
