Ecological Measurement Center of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) obtained accreditation for technical authorized independence in the system of national accreditation AZS, SOCAR said on Monday. The Centre is the first institution which obtained such accreditation.
Accreditation is provided by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
According to the report, the Center received the accreditation certificate AZ 031/11. № 1/02.0186.01.10.
Now Ecological Department based on appeal is ready to cooperate with all institutions and enterprises to carry out various ecological activities and services, research, experiment, test of new equipment and technologies.
At present, the Ecological Department has three measuring points (Balakhani, Bibiheybat and Hovsani). The main purpose of these items is to control the gases emitted into the atmosphere by motor means which are on SOCAR's enterprises and departments' balance
