"Georgian Railways" increased transporting of dry cargo by 16 percent up to 2.15 million tons during the first quarter, Georgian Railways said.
According to the information, the dynamics of transporting the main dry cargo - iron ore and manganese increased by 5,1 percent, construction materials - by 6.7 percent, grain - by 9.3 percent, ferrous metals - by 23.1 percent.
The domestic cargo transportations increased by 5.2 percent, export transportations - by 1.2 percent, transit - by 11,3 percent.
