Consolidated return of Kazakhstan's National Oil and Gas Company KazMunaiGas in 2011 amounted to 2.8 trillion tenge ($18.8 billion), exceeding the target figure by 26 percent, and revenues in 2010 by 25 percent according to preliminary data, the company said on Thursday.
The consolidated profit amounted to 379.32 billion tenge ($2.5 billion), which is 15 percent more than the target figure and 24 percent more than last year.
In general, according to operative data for January-December 2011, KazMunaiGas transferred 517.5 billion tenge ($ 3.4 billion) in taxes and other compulsory payments to the state budget of Kazakhstan, which exceeds the approved plan by 35 percent and by 23 percent more than the same period of last year.
