Number of gas stations, operating under the brand of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) in Romania, will be increased to 100, CEO of SOCAR Romania, Hamza Karimov said in an interview with 'SOCAR Plus' journal.
Currently 20 gas stations are operating in Romania under the SOCAR brand, according to him.
"One of the main tasks ahead of us is to bring the number of gas stations to 100, thus covering the entire territory of Romania," Karimov said.
SOCAR is the sole oil producer in Azerbaijan (has two oil refineries), and also owns gas stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
