Low oil prices play a positive role in continuing the work to implement economic reforms in Azerbaijan, said Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev.
He made the remarks June 21 at a conference titled “Strategic Outlook on agriculture: competition, food safety and social aspects”, organized at the ADA University.
Pashayev said currently, Azerbaijan’s economy is going through an important stage.
“If oil prices remain at the current level or further decrease, it can be great support in implementing of economic reforms,” he noted.
All this work, said Pashayev, is also being implemented at the state level; relevant commissions have been created to assist in the implementation of economic reforms.
