Greek crude oil tanker AEGEAN BLUE moored in the Port of Odessa with 88,300 tons of Azerbaijani oil on July 6, Ukraine’s media outlets reported citing the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

The tanker supplied the oil from the Georgian port of Supsa, according to the press service.

On May 1, the NISSOS SANTORINI tanker moored in the Port of Odessa with 83,100 tons of Azerbaijani oil and the YASA GOLDEN MARMARA tanker arrived in Odessa with 83,300 tons of Azerbaijani oil on June 1.

Meanwhile, the press service said that Ukraine’s Ukrtatnafta imported 250,000 tons of Azerbaijani oil in January-May 2017 against planned 500,000 tons.

On March 10, Ukrtatnafta received the first batch of Azerbaijani oil via the UkrTransNafta's oil transportation system.

On Nov. 3, 2016, UkrTransNafta and Ukrtatnafta signed a contract for the supply of not less than 1.3 million tons of Azeri Light oil per year to the Kremenchuk refinery from 2017. The document envisages the resumption of work of the Odessa-Kremenchuk oil pipeline section, which was idle for about five years.

Ukrtatnafta expects that crude processing will increase by more than 41 percent thanks to the supply of Azerbaijani oil in 2017.
