Prices on natural gas and electricity in Uzbekistan will be increased beginning from April 1, whereas price of the motor fuel will be left as is, the press office of the Uzbekneftproduct JSC announced on March 27.
The announcement was made amidst the rumors about the expected price growth in Uzbekistan on April 1.
The previous price growth happened on Nov. 25, 2017. The prices on gasoline were set as following:
- AI-80 – 3,800 soums per liter
- AI-91 – 4,300 soums per liter
New prices on diesel fuel have also come into force since March 1, 2018:
- Diesel fuel – 4,600 soums per liter
- ECO diesel fuel – 4,700 soums per liter
Earlier, Uzbek Uztransgaz, a national gas supplier, announced that it will raise the tariffs for people by 10 percent beginning from April 1.
