In January-April of 2018, the Russian international trade sea port of Novorossiysk, transshipped 21.48 million tons of oil compared to 26.95 million tons transshipped over the same period in 2017, said the report, posted June 5 on the website of the port.
During the reporting period, the port of Novorossiysk implemented transshipment of 12.06 million tons of oil products against 11.42 million tons in January-April 2017.
In January-April, 47.49 million tons of various cargoes were transshipped through the port against 50.58 million tons for the same period last year.
The Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR carries out shipment of its own oil through the port of Novorossiysk. Oil is delivered here via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline.
