Turkmenistan discloses volume of production at Nayip gas-processing complex

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, Jan. 30

By Huseyn Hasanov – Trend:

Over 105,000 cubic meters of liquefied gas and more than 47,600 tons of gas condensate were produced at the Nayip gas-processing complex of Turkmenistan’s Lebap region in 2019, Trend reports referring to the country’s Turkmengas State Concern on Jan. 30.

Currently, an automated installation at this complex, as well as storage facilities in the Gazochak village are being modernized. The installation is implemented by the Italian Gea Technofrigo SpA company in 1998.

The bulk of the complex’s products are shipped to foreign consumers.

It was earlier reported that the main countries among the buyers of liquefied gas are Afghanistan, Georgia, Iran, Tajikistan and Pakistan.

Inside the country, liquefied gas is sent to a refinery in the Saydi city, which produces high-quality light petroleum products that are in demand on the world market.

Automated process units at the nearby fields of Bagadja, Gazlydepe, Kerven, Izmail and others also process natural gas around the clock.
