By Klavdiya Romakayeva - Trend:

A pipeline was laid to supply the product obtained from a recently drilled well to the Gazli gas processing plant in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

According to Uzbekneftegaz, work is being carried out in order to increase the production of hydrocarbon raw materials in the oil and gas production departments of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

In particular, well No. 1 was put into operation at the Urtakum field of the Gazli oil and gas production department after drilling.

A loop pipeline 108×8 mm in diameter and a length of 320 p/m and a gas collector with a length of 426×16 mm and a length of 930 p/m were laid to the Kumli-Uchkir gas pipeline to transfer the produced natural gas from this well to the technological equipment of the Gazli gas processing plant. As a result, the daily production of natural gas will increase.

It was noted that natural gas produced from the Urtakum field is purified from hydrogen sulfide and acid gases by absorption processes with a chemical reagent amine at the Gazli gas processing plant.

Purified natural gas is transferred to the main gas pipeline management of Uztransgaz JSC via the Uchkir - Gazli main gas pipeline with a diameter of 1,020 mm and a length of 47 km.

Construction and installation work on the gas pipelines was carried out by Maksusenergogaz JSC.

The Urtakum field is located in the Karakul district of the Bukhara region and was commissioned in 2020.
