Volume of actual oil production at the Azerbaijani Mishovdag and Kalamaddin fields in 2020 resulted to be below the forecast, Trend reports referring to the Accounting Chamber's report on the budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ).
According to the report, last year 620,000 barrels of oil were produced against the forecast of 630,000 barrels.
Due to the excess of the forecasted oil price, the fund for these fields received revenues in the amount of $440,000.
In May 2021, daily oil production (together with condensate) in Azerbaijan amounted to 674,000 barrels, of which, 586,000 barrels fell on crude oil, and 88,000 barrels - on condensate.
Within the framework of the agreements adopted at the relevant meetings of the ministers of the OPEC + countries, it was determined that the average daily crude oil production in Azerbaijan will be maintained at 603,000 barrels in May, 610,000 barrels in June and 620,000 barrels in July.
