BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. The 3rd steam unit of Asaluyeh Thermal Power Plant in Bushehr Province (southern Iran) is planned to be put into operation over the next Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024), Managing Director of Iran’s Thermal Power Plants Holding Company (TPPH), Abdol Rasoul Pishahang told IRNA, Trend reports.
According to Pishahang, there is currently a 43 percent physical progress in construction work in the mentioned unit. Some 800 people work in the construction of the unit and 70 more people will be employed after it is launched.
The director added that in total, 408 million euro is to be spent for the construction and commissioning of 3 steam units at Asaluyeh TPP.
On October 8, the 2nd steam unit of the Asaluyeh Thermal Power Plant in Bushehr Province (southern Iran) was put into use. About 130 million euro has been spent on the construction and launch of the 2nd unit.
