ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 23. Turkmenistan exported various types of fuel to foreign countries from January through July of this year, produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery located in the Lebap region of the country, Trend reports.
According to official data, during the specified period, Turkmenistan exported 24,500 tons of gasoline to Uzbekistan, 20,000 tons of heavy vacuum gas oil to Georgia, 1,500 tons of diesel fuel to the UAE, and 60,000 tons of diesel fuel to Uzbekistan and Afghanistan as a whole.
In general, the plant manufactured more than 265,000 tons of oil products in the first seven months of this year, exceeding the plan by 106 percent.
Meanwhile, the Seydi Oil Refinery is one of the largest industrial enterprises in the country.
Turkmenistan boasts significant oil and gas reserves, placing it among the leading nations globally in this aspect. The country places significant emphasis on the development and establishment of oil and gas processing facilities while also actively engaging in exporting energy resources to international markets.
