ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 9. The oil industry enterprises in Turkmenistan surpassed their production targets from January through September of this year, Trend reports.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan, Batyr Amanov, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on October 5, 2023.
As per his statement, during the specified period, the oil supply plan by the Turkmennebit State Concern was fulfilled by 100.4 percent.
Furthermore, Amanov highlighted that the targets for oil refining at the enterprises of Turkmenistan were exceeded in the period from January through September this year by 1.3 percent, gasoline production by 5.1 percent, diesel fuel by 5.1 percent, and lubricating oils by 0.9 percent.
Meanwhile, as stated by the Turkmen Turkmengaz State Concern, Turkmenistan's hydrocarbon reserves are evaluated to be in excess of 71 billion tons of oil equivalent. This includes over 20 billion tons of oil and more than 50 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.
