Gas turbine power station in Nakhchivan AR to be commissioned in late Apr

Etibar Pirverdiyev, the President of Azerenerji JSC, has visited the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) to get familiar with the course of the construction of the 40-MW gas turbine power station and the implementation of the project on construction of the module station in the republic, Trend reports referring to a news release by Azerenerji.

According to Pirverdiyev, the site earlier chosen for construction of the module power station turned out unsuited after survey and other 10-hectare place at 15 km of the Nakhchivan-Julfa main line was chosen.

The head of Azerenerji has got familiar with the construction of the gas turbine station. To this date the 1st and the 2nd energy units have been launched at the station. The specialists test gas pressure regulation system acquired from Holland. They are currently working on launching of 2 other energy units. The station will be put into exploitation till late April. It will allow the Company to improve energy supply of the Nakhchivan AR.
