The State Statistics Committee officials informed Trend during the period of January to October 2006, that approximately 3.4 mln tons of oil products have been sold in the internal market of Azerbaijan,
Some 577,700 tons of the total volume of oil products fell on gasoline, more than 17% over the year. Wholesale price of Рђ-92 gasoline in the internal market (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 432.30, Рђ-96 - AZN 484.70.
In January to October 2006 Azpetrol reportedly acquired 317,700 tons of gasoline for sale, LUKoil 117,300 tons.
Diesel fuel sold in January-October totaled to 599,000 tons, 12.7% down as compared to 2005. Wholesale price of 1 ton of diesel fuel is 397.46 AZN (VAT inclusive). In January to August 2006 Azpetrol reportedly acquired 234,800 tons of diesel for sale, LUKoil 78,500 tons and Caspian Sea Shipping - 19.7 tons. The latter also purchased all petrol nearly 65,230 tons, as well as 1,550 tons of engine oil.
The greatest deal fell for fuel oil. In January to October of 2005 some 1580,300 tons of fuel oil have been sold, 24.8% less than 2005. Wholesale price of 1 ton of fuel oil Рњ-40 is AZN 77.88 (VAT inclusive). During first 10 months Azerenerji JSC received 1,025,600 tons of fuel oil and Oil refinery named after H. Aliyev 461,440 tons.
Aviation kerosene sold in the market totaled to 428,600 tons, down 9.5% over year. Wholesale price of 1 ton of this fuel (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 411.68. SC AZAL reportedly received 398,590 tons of this fuel in this period and the other enterprises acquired 30,000 tons.
Sale of petroleum bitumen totaled to 117,100 tons, up 43.5% than 2005. Wholesale price of 1 ton of bitumen BN 60/90 (VAT and transportation costs inclusive) is AZN 108.90.
