Azerbaijan’s NBC Bank completed the fourth quarter of 2018 with a profit worth 1.15 million manats, which is 60.48 percent less compared to 2017, Trend reports referring to the financial report of the bank on Jan. 24.
In the fourth quarter, the bank's interest income reached 17.57 million manats (13.89 million manats a year earlier), non-interest income - 3.386 million manats (3.142 million manats).
The bank's interest expenses amounted to 11.02 million manats (6.48 million manats), non-interest expenses - 7.66 million manats (6.03 million manats).
The bank’s total assets during the reporting period amounted to 283.376 million manats, increasing by almost 38.82 percent for the year.
In the asset structure, 6.04 million manats accounted for cash (3.57 million manats a year earlier). About 1.36 million manats of the bank were on nostro accounts in the Central Bank and other banks (1.49 million manats).
The bank's loan portfolio in the fourth quarter of 2018 amounted to 204.469 million manats, which is almost 32.43 percent more than in the fourth quarter of 2017.
The total liabilities of the bank amounted to 225.274 million manats compared to 147.285 million manats a year earlier.
The biggest part of liabilities accounted for the deposit portfolio - 106.426 million manats, which increased by 43.88 percent for the year.
The bank’s authorized capital has reached 64 million manats, the total capital - 57.88 million manats.
