Uzbekistan plans to continue the liberalization of monetary policy that was launched in September 2017, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
The first step in this direction was the introduction of conversion in Uzbekistan.
The head of the Central Bank, Mamariso Nurmurotov stated that Uzbek citizens will have the opportunity to receive foreign currency in cash after conversion by the end of 2019.
Currently, bags can be converted into dollars only using a Visa card. After the full liberalization, these difficulties will no longer exist.
