National Bank of Uzbekistan receives loan from Polish bank

National Bank of Uzbekistan received a credit limit of 20 million euros from the Polish bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego for trade financing, Trend reports via Uzbek media.

Moreover, bank received a credit limit from the Uzbek-Russian joint bank Asia-Invest Bank in the amount of $4 million in the direction of trade financing.

These loan amounts will be used to expand and finance trade volumes in Uzbekistan, as well as creating greater convenience for entrepreneurs.

It should also be noted that National Bank has opened a new credit line in the dairy industry.

The project as part of the development of the value chain project will be implemented only in Kashkadarya and Jizzakh regions.

A dedicated credit line is from $10,000 to $250,000.

Grace period of the project: up to 1 year.

Maximum terms of a loan provided by this credit line: up to 5 years.

Commission for the undeveloped part of the loan: 2.65 percent per annum.

The share of small and private business in project financing: at least 25 percent of the project cost.

Countries for the purchase of equipment purchased with credit funds are not limited.

A line of credit is issued in the following cases:

- To peasant farms - for the purchase of highly productive breeding cattle and equipment (portable milking machines, grain mills, other equipment for the production of feed, etc. A dedicated credit line of up to $10,000);

- To farms for the purchase of fodder harvesting equipment (combines, and other equipment for collecting and processing feed), specialized vehicles for the transport of milk and dairy products, cooling tanks, milking equipment, livestock to improve the breed, etc. (allocated credit line up to $100,000);

- Suppliers of means of production and services for the creation / modernization of veterinary services, as well as the preparation of feed and fodder; (allocated credit line is from $10,000 to $100,000)

- To dairy processors for the purchase and modernization of technological equipment, dairy product packaging lines, cold rooms, working capital replenishment, etc. (allocated credit line up to $250,000).
