Conti International Group remains shareholder of consortium in Georgia

The US based Conti International Group remains a shareholder in the Anaklia Development Consortium of Georgia (ADC), which was created to implement the Anaklia deep sea port construction project, Trend reports referring to the consortium.

"Due to high public interest, the Anaklia Development Consortium would like to announce: we were informed today that Conti International Group reconsidered its position and remains a shareholder of the consortium,” the report said.

Levan Akhvlediani, director general of the consortium, said that Conti International group still owns a 42-percent share in ADC.

It was announced on August 15 that Conti International Group, one of the main partners of Anaklia deep sea port project, decided to quit the Anaklia Development Consortium.
