The balance of bank loans in Iran increased by 42.8 percent during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through October 21, 2020), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
The balance of deposits also increased by 40.7 percent over the 7 months compared to the same period of the last Iranian year.
The following table presents the balance of loans, foreign currency deposits of banks and financial institutions for the reported seven-month period, according to the official exchange rate ($1 - 42,000 rials):
