Nominal income of Azerbaijani population drops for Q12021

The nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan decreased by 1.1 percent in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, settling at 13.4 billion manat ($7.88 billion), Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.

During the specified period, the nominal income per capita decreased by 1.6 percent - to 1,345 manat ($791), the report said.

At the same time, the nominal volume of GDP amounted to 18.9 billion manat, decreasing by 1.3 percent less year on year.

As reported, GDP in the non-oil sector amounted to 12 billion manat, which is a growth of 2.1 percent in annual terms.

GDP per capita amounted to 1,891.1 manat ($1,112), decreasing by 1.8 percent year on year.

From January through March 2021, the income of the population after payment of all compulsory and voluntary payments amounted to 12.2 billion manat ($7.17 billion), a decrease of 1.2 percent.
