Income of Azerbaijan's population drops in 4M2021

The nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan decreased by 0.6 percent from January through April 2021, having settled at 17 billion manat ($10 billion) compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

Along with this, by early May 2021, the nominal volume of GDP in the country amounted to 25 billion manat ($14.7 billion), which is 10.6 percent more compared to a year earlier.

Moreover, during the reporting period, the volume of GDP in the non-oil sector amounted to 13.6 billion manat ($8 billion), increasing by 8.2 percent compared to the same period of 2020. By early May, investments in fixed assets amounted to over 3.75 billion manat ($2.2 billion), showing an annual decrease of 3.9 percent or 150.7 million manat ($88.6 million).

By early May 2021, the average annual consumer price index in Azerbaijan amounted to 4 percent, having increased by 1 percentage point over the year.
