Nominal income of Azerbaijani population increases

The nominal income of the population of Azerbaijan increased by 1 percent or 361 million manat ($212.3 million) from January through August 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing a report by Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.

More precisely, the population’s income has risen from 36.8 billion to about 37.2 billion manat ($21.64 billion - $21.88 billion) in annual circulation.

At the same time, income per capita increased by 0.7 percent or 19 manat ($11.1) over the year, that is, from 3,693.3 to 3,712.3 manat ($2,172 - $2,187).

After the payment of all mandatory and voluntary payments, the income of the population for the reporting increased by 0.5 percent or 165.1 million manat ($97.1 million) on annual basis and amounted to 33.3 billion manat ($19.6 billion).

In the same period of last year, this figure was 33.1 billion manat ($19.4 billion). Meanwhile, per capita income increased by 0.04 percent or 1.2 manat (70 cents) - from 3,328.2 to 3,329.4 manat ($1,957.7-1,958.4).
