Iran attracts foreign investments in Markazi Province

Iran has issued a license to invest more than $36 million worth of foreign investments in the Markazi Province (central Iran) from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to November 6, Deputy Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Markazi Province Reza Ashtari said, Trend reports citing the organization.

The deputy chairman noted that the investments will be made in 9 different industrial plans. The plans cover the metal industry, the chemical industry, the petroleum industry, rubber and tires industry, non-metallic minerals industry, transport and automotive industry, and the textile industry.

Ashtari added that the investments were attracted from China, Afghanistan and Turkey.

“In total, $495 million worth of foreign investments have been made in 48 facilities in Iran's Markazi Province so far, and the province's Industry, Mine and Trade Organization is continuing its efforts in this direction,” he said.
